Singer, songwriter, and Nashville native Stephen Sanchez shot into stardom with his breakout single “Until I Found You” in 2021. Since then, he’s been on supporting and headlining tours, undergone vocal surgery, released an album, and will be returning better than ever to Philadelphia this October.
News of his upcoming tour follows the release of Angel Face (Club Deluxe), the follow-up to his debut album Angel Face, and plays into the album’s concept. The record tells the tale of Troubador, a fictional version of Sanchez, who rose to fame in the late ‘50s and fell in love with a woman named Evangeline.
“In 1958, Stephen Sanchez & The Moon Crests made their debut on the Connie Co Show! Now we close out this era in the most electrifying way we know— with our BIGGEST TOUR yet. Get ready to dive into the unforgettable experience of The Connie Co Show, baby,” shared Sanchez in an Instagram post.
Sanchez may only be 21 years old, but his music is timeless. With a retro blend of folk, pop, and soul influences, he has the ability to convey emotionally rich stories through his songs. His live shows are a display of his talents and are nothing short of spectacular. Catch him at the Met on October 19; tickets go on sale this Friday, May 3, and more information can be found at WXPN’s Concert Calendar.
