Philly multi-instrumentalist Comprador just announced their newest album, Please Stay Off The Statue, which comes out May 16th; to promote it, they’ve shared the new single “No Dice” and announced a release show at PhilaMOCA on the date of the album’s release. The show sees Comprador — the project of Charlie D’Ardenne, drummer for Best Bear and Lena Fine, and guitarist for Humilitarian — headlining on a diverse bill, which includes local act littlehag, Nashville power-pop band The Dreaded Laramie, and Toronto psych rock outfit Beams.
Along with the news comes Comprador’s newest single “No Dice,” which draws parallels between a bad relationship and a bad bet. You can stream it below, and hear more at the artist’s Bandcamp.
