WXPN, the member-supported, public radio service of the University of Pennsylvania, announced today that Amber Miller will join as On-Air Host. She will be heard during nights and weekends, in addition to fill-in shifts, starting Thursday, July 18.
Miller was On-Air Host, Assistant Program Director, and Program Director for WRFF/Philadelphia from 2016 until earlier this year. She held the same positions at WEQX/Albany from 2007 to 2013. From 2013 to 2016, she served as Director, National Promotion for Caroline Distribution (now Virgin Music Group). Previously, she was On-Air Host at WDGC/Raleigh and WQSM/Fayetteville.
A Michigan native, Miller started her career in 2000 at WDVD/Detroit as Programming/ Promotions Assistant, working her way up to Assistant Producer of The Rocky Allen Show. She holds a B.A. in broadcast and cinematic arts from Central Michigan University.
