Sunday 7/21: Baby’s First Rodeo at Anchor Rock Club

WXPN Welcomes Joshua Hedley, Cosmic Guilt, and Mandy Valentine for an Atlantic City edition of Baby’s First Rodeo, Philadelphia’s long-running cowboy country party. It’s got pop-up vendors, DJ sets, line-dancing – in other words, it’s the ideal Sunday night out. Monday 7/22: Mary Timony at Elkton Music Hall

Mary Timony, the hard-working indie rocker who’s spent over thirty years playing in Autoclave, Ex Hex, Helium, and Wild Flag, comes to Elkton Music Hall in celebration of her newest record, Untame the Tiger. Opening for Timony is Richmond power-pop group Dazy. // 8 p.m., $25, 21+ – C.B.

Tuesday 7/23: Foo Fighters at Hersheypark Stadium

Hey, Hershey Park! Foo Fighters are touring their acclaimed 11th record But Here We Are at Hersheypark Stadium this week, and with the cross-generational pairing of 2000s garage rock icons The Hives and 2010s garage rock icons Amyl and the Sniffers as openers, this is a bill you don’t want to miss. // 5:30 p.m., $179.75 and up, AA – C.B.

Tuesday 7/23: Jah Wobble at World Cafe Live

Jah Wobble, formerly of Public Image Ltd. and now performing as a raucous solo act, comes to World Cafe Live on Tuesday. Ever prolific, Wobble released three albums last year, though he’s still touring in support of his 2021 record (and new fan favorite) Metal Box – Rebuilt in Dub, a rerecording of his revered 1979 album. // 8 p.m., $30, AA – C.B.

Wednesday 7/24: Tinariwen at Underground Arts

Hailing all the way from northern Mali, the desert rock collective Tinariwen brings their cross-cultural brand of blues-infused Tuareg music to Philly this Wednesday. If you’re looking to get into the psychedelic world of Tuareg music (and you should be, because it’s awesome), there’s no better way to experience it than seeing it live. Wednesday 7/24: SiR at The Fillmore

On the heels of his latest album HEAVY, Grammy-nominated Sir Darryl Faris is making a stop in Philly. He’s gained acclaim with hits like “Hair Down” and “John Redcorn,” showcasing his knack for creating songs with soulful melodies with introspective lyrics. Wednesday 7/24: Kathleen Edwards at Upper Merion Township Park

Canadian singer-songwriter Kathleen Edwards is back on tour…and her rescheduled Concert Under The Stars gig from earlier this summer happens this week! After stepping away from music for a few years, her poignant lyrics and folk-rock sound made a return with 2020’s Total Freedom. Thursday 7/25: Beck with The Philadelphia Orchestra at The Mann

Beck’s music has never quite fit into one genre. Last Friday, he released “Death Valley High” with Orville Peck, two months after dropping the decidedly rock “Boom Boom Back” with Hinds. Thursday 7/25: Black Pumas at Riverfront Park

Psychedelic soul duo Eric Burton and Adrian Quesada are bringing good vibes to Riverfront Park in Harrisburg! Their albums have earned them Grammy noms and critical acclaim. Friday 7/26: The Japanese House at Franklin Music Hall

The artist behind everyone’s favorite music to blast through your headphones while you cry on your bed at 2 a.m. – no, just me? Friday 7/26: The War and Treaty at Levitt Pavilion SteelStacks

Husband and wife duo The War and Treaty are treating listeners to a free concert at the Levitt Pavilion SteelStacks. Hailing from Nashville, Tennessee, The War and Treaty mixes blues, gospel, soul, and country in a moving blend, full of passion and warmth. Made up of Michael Trotter Jr. and Tanya Trotter, The War and Treaty have proved themselves to be a rising force in the world of Americana. Friday 7/26: Faye Webster at the Dell Music Center

On the road touring her latest album Underdressed at the Symphony, Faye Webster is bringing her soothing indie songs to the Dell Music Center. Steadily gaining followers over the past few years, the Atlanta-based singer-songwriter teeters between soft pop and indie folk tracks, sometimes defying genre altogether, like on “Lego Ring” featuring Lil Yachty. Saturday 7/27: Regina Spektor at The Met

Regina Spektor is coming to The Met this week as part of a limited run of summer shows. Her latest full-length release was 2022’s Home, before and after, an album full of sweeping string arrangements. Growing up in the Soviet Union before coming to New York, Spektor’s first instrument was the piano and her classical influences shine through in her songs. Piano solos often dance between bright, idiosyncratic lyrics, crafting delicate songs. // 8 p.m., $54.25, AA – E.Z.P.

Saturday 7/27: Velvet Rouge at Johnny Brenda’s

Philly rockers Velvet Rouge are playing Johnny Brenda’s this Saturday. Founded by Gina Costanzo (also known as Gina Zo) after an appearance on NBC’s The Voice, Velvet Rouge also features Buddy Mazzenga on drums and Joe McEnany on guitar. Their latest singles, “Lonely Since The Day We Met” and “Shattered,” came out this summer and highlight their twangy pop aesthetic and penchant for overdriven rock. Saturday 7/27: The Linda Lindas at Asbury Lanes

Teenage all-girl band The Linda Lindas are establishing themselves as the new pop-punk band to watch, and they headline Jersey’s famed Asbury Lanes venue this Saturday. Made up of sisters Lucia de la Garza (guitar and vocals) and Mila de la Garza (drums and vocals), Eloise Wong (bass and vocals), and Bela Salazar (guitar and vocals), the band recently released “All In My Head,” as well as announced an upcoming album No Obligation, out October 11. // 7 p.m., $22, AA – E.Z.P.
