Of course we expected Alanis Morissette and MUNA to play the final night of Pitchfork Music Festival – they were headliners, after all. What we didn’t expect was for the two musical powerhouses to join forces in a rendition of one of Morissette’s most famous songs.
MUNA’s set featured songs from their self-titled 2022 album, including “Runner’s High” and “Silk Chiffon.” Alanis Morrissette kicked it old school with hits from Jagged Little Pill’s “Hand In My Pocket” to “You Oughta Know,” but welcomed MUNA back onstage for a rendition of her other hit from the 1996 album, “Ironic.”
