Headlining night one with another artist on this list is the magical Allison Russell. We were fortunate enough to host her and her band the following year as well at 2023’s memorable, rainy XPN fest.

Big Thief – “Masterpiece” recorded live for World Cafe

Speaking of Friday headliners… prepare yourself for Adrianne Lenker if you’re lucky enough to be at Newport this year. And her Big Thief bandmate, Buck Meek, plays with his band earlier in the day. To celebrate, we dug up this relic from 2016: the band performing “Masterpiece” from their debut LP for World Cafe.

Wednesday – “Bath County” (Indie Rock Hit Parade Live Session)

One more from Friday’s lineup: the Asheville alt-country group Wednesday. We’re still not over this Indie Rock Hit Parade Session from April 2023, the day Rat Saw God was released.

Reyna Tropical – Live at NonComm 2024 (Full Performance)

Reyna Tropical is among the many talented acts on Saturday at Newport, and she was here in May to perform at NON-COMM. Watch the full set available for the first time this week.
