Within just four years, beabadoobee has gone from making songs in her bedroom to recoding her third studio album with Rick Rubin at his Shangri-La studio in Malibu, Calif.

This is How Tomorrow Moves proves that even when she trades her childhood bedroom for a world-famous studio, beabadoobee is able to maintain the same intimacy and honesty that has connected her to so many fans.

In this session, beabadoobee joins me to talk about working with Rubin, taking inspiration from her idol, Elliott Smith, and performing for her grandma in the Philippines. She also talks about opening for Taylor Swift during her Eras Tour and adjusting to the massive crowds.

The performances you are hearing were recorded at World Cafe Live in Philadelphia, and they were the first time beabadoobee had performed them in front of a live audience. Enjoy!
