Modest Mouse has good news for people who are floating on: it’s time for an anniversary tour. Two decades following the release of Good News For People Who Love Bad News, the Pacific Northwest rock faves have announced an anniversary tour. Starting October 29th in Hawaii, they’ll be traveling East, concluding with a three-night stay in New York.
Good News For People Who Love Bad News, originally released on April 6, 2004, is Modest Mouse’s fourth studio album and includes hits like “Float On” and “Ocean Breathes Salty.” Good News was nominated for a Grammy for Best Alternative Music Album and “Float On” was nominated for Best Rock Song that year.
After their first stop in Honolulu, The Black Heart Procession will be supporting Modest Mouse, who will be stopping at The Fillmore on November 20th. Tickets are on sale Friday, August 23rd, with times available on modestmouse.com.Check out full tour dates below. More information available on XPN’s Concert Calendar.
