Synthpop duo Magdalena Bay (made up of Mica Tenenbaum and Matthew Lewin) released their sophomore album today, and just yesterday shared “That’s My Floor,” the final frontier so to speak before the record came into the world. Although this track features heavier rock influences than some others, Magdalena Bay’s sound is psychedelic, futuristic, and an all-around good time, giving way to some of the craziest parts of our imaginations.

The accompanying music video for “That’s My Floor” does the same, times ten. Directed by frequent collaborator Amanda Kramer, it’s a kaleidoscope of different colors, mediums, and characters. Watch it below.

Imaginal Disk is out now via Mom + Pop, and Magdalena Bay will also come to Philly later in September, playing a show at the Brooklynn Bowl. They’ll be joined by Mexican psychedelic-pop band Valgur. Check out more details at XPN’s Concert Calendar.
