Despite having to cancel their August tour dates, The Smile remains as active as ever. Almost exactly seven months after their last album, Wall Of Eyes, they have officially announced their new LP Cutouts, which is set to be released on October 4 via XL Records.

In addition to the record announcement, the band shared two additional singles, “Foreign Spies” and “Zero Sum.” Past singles “Don’t Get Me Started” and “The Slip” will also be on the album, with the latter originally being a vinyl-only release.

Ambient, trippy, and eerie, “Foreign Spies” and “Zero Sum” both come with music videos by Weirdcore. Full of pulsing visuals, the digital videos emulate the retro-futuristic and video-game feel of the songs. Watch them below.

The trio, made up of Thom Yorke, Jonny Greenwood, and Tom Skinner, recorded Cutouts with producer Sam Petts-Davies at London’s Abbey Road Studios during the same period as Wall of Eyes. Watch for the record on October 4, and check out the tracklist below.
