Julia Pratt – XPoNential Music Festival 2024 (Full Set)

“From releasing her debut EP this May (complete with a hometown release party at The Foundry) to being on tour throughout the year, Pratt has had a busy year. Through it all, she’s kept her gentle charm, taking the time in her set to share anecdotes about her songs. While her EP Family Feud is about some darker moments in her upbringing and familial past, Pratt managed to convey hope and lightness throughout her set.” — Emma Zoe Polyak in her review of Pratt’s set.

Pete Yorn – XPoNential Music Festival 2024 (Full Set)

“Armed with his Epiphone guitar, Yorn delivered a set featuring a range of tracks from his discography. Before he could tackle his greatest hits and new works, he had to rep that this is his home state, opening his set with Bruce Springsteen’s ‘Atlantic City.'” — Izabella Patrizio in her review of Pete Yorn’s set.

Khalil Amaru – XPoNential Music Festival 2024 (Full Set)

“This summer, the Michigan-born Philly-based singer-songwriter Khalil Amaru captured our attention and our hearts with ‘Dear June,’ a moving song written in a single day for the WXPN 24 Hour Song Challenge. He won the grand prize, which included an opportunity to play the song live at the XPoNential Music Festival, and as we got to know him, we learned he not only had a new EP on the way — Love Pains, released last month — but an expansive live band. So Amaru’s XPNFest pop-up expanded into a short XPNFest set that started off day two.” — John Vettese in his review of Amaru’s set.

The Walkmen – 2024 XPoNential Music Festival (Full Set)

“After 14 years, east coast indie icons The Walkmen returned to the River Stage to headline day one of the 2024 XPoNential Music Festival. The NYC-born indie rock band took the stage at 9:20 pm under an ideal night sky and in crisp, 70 degree air. ‘You don’t always get asked back to things,’ the band would later state happily.” — Atticus Deeny in his review of The Walkmen.

Guster feat. Penn Band – Fa Fa (Live at 2024 XPoNential Music Festival)

“For the encore, ‘Fa Fa,’ Guster announced they were bringing out the University of Pennsylvania marching band. Over 50 students with horns, drums, and other instruments poured into the front of the venue, with section leaders Rachel Breon (tenor sax), Reed Kienzle (trumpet) and Jiayi Li (trombone) onstage playing alongside the band. Anya Stewart of the Penn Color Guard pulled out two wands, lit them on fire, and began flame throwing: a thrilling way to wrap up their set, and the Festival weekend.’ — Elie Pichanick in her review of Guster’s set.
