Monday 11/25: Adrianne Lenker at Union Transfer

If you need to get a good cry in before November ends, Big Thief co-frontperson Adrianne Lenker is playing two nights at Union Transfer, beginning Monday and continuing on Tuesday 11/26. Her latest album, Bright Future, came out this year. // 8 p.m., $115 and up (official resale), AA

Monday 11/25: Salami Rose Joe Louis at Johnny Brenda’s

California artist Lindsay Olsen, aka Salami Rose Joe Louis, is no stranger to Philly. The mind-bending artist collaborated with like-minded local guitar artist (guitartist?) Simon Martinez, aka Flanafi, this spring. This Monday, she headlines Johnny Brenda’s with support from Morgan Garrett and Andy Loebs. // 8 p.m., $18, 21+

Tuesday 11/26: Zinadelphia at The Foundry

Stylish and soulful Philly artist Zinadelphia is on her first headlining North American tour this fall, and she returns home to wrap it up with a headlining gig at The Foundry. The show officially sold out in a day when it was announced earlier this fall, but if you rock with the verified resale thing and have the extra bucks to spend, it’ll be a performance well worth seeing. // 8 p.m., $129.98 and up (verified resale), AA

Friday 11/29: The Menzingers at TLA

Scranton-born, Philly-made punk outfit The Menzingers is still on the road in support of last year’s great Some Of It Was True, and their run of holiday underplays comes home to the TLA tonight. Shake off that food coma and head to South Street to rage. // 8 p.m., $149.06 (verified resale), AA

Friday 11/29: Railroad Earth at Sherman Theater

Or maybe jamming is your way to burn calories? If so, Railroad Earth is giving you two nights to do so. The freewheeling bluegrass-infused NJ rockers are playing Stroudsburg’s Sherman Theater on Friday, and returning for a Saturday Night set as well. Friday 11/29: Dopapod at Brooklyn Bowl Philly

How about jams from the future? Seasoned Boston groove-riders Dopapod bring their tour in support of this year’s Phobia to Brooklyn Bowl Philly Friday. Suave local singer-songwriter Kyle Sparkman opens. // 7:30 p.m., $31.35 and up, 21+

Friday 11/29: Friends of Jerry at Underground Arts

So many options for jam fans on Friday, though. Friends Of Jerry, the spirited Grateful Dead tribute band made up of members of various Philly indie rock outfits, headlines Underground Arts Friday night. Come for “Sugar Magnolia” and “Fire On The Mountain,” stay for Dead-adjacent covers; recent shows archived on their Bandcamp find them doing Zevon (“Werewolves Of London”) and Wings (“Let Me Roll It”). // 9 p.m., $27.20, 21+

Friday 11/29: Soraia at MilkBoy

Fronted by dynamic vocalist ZouZou Mansour hard-hitting Jersey rockers celebrates the release of their latest album, a remixed rendition of their 2008 debut Shed The Skin, Friday at MilkBoy. Pink Soap and Bobby Mahoney open. // 8:30 p.m., $20.97, 21+

Saturday 11/30: The Bret Tobias Set at Johnny Brenda’s

The good thing about it being a low-key week in Philly live music is it gives us more space in the XPN concert picks to shout out very worthy concerts by local artists. On Saturday, we say get thee to Johnny Brenda’s, where local power pop hero Bret Tobias brings his latest project The Bret Tobias Set to headline alongside yee-haw stompers Mandy Valentine and eclectic pop band All the Living And The Dead. // 8 p.m., $12, 21+
