Sunday 1/12: This Is Lorelei at Johnny Brenda’s

A mix of low-fi drum machine beats, countrified electric guitar, and pop songwriting smarts, New York’s Nate Amos made a striking impression with his project This Is Lorelei at their Johnny Brenda’s appearance last summer. Sunday 1/12: Keyon Harrold at Ardmore Music Hall

The record is at once freewheeling and atmospheric, but readily accessible, and last year’s Forverland – which he supports this Sunday with a gig at Ardmore Music Hall – continues in that spirit. // 7:00 p.m., $20, 21+
