Inside Hustle Returns May 13 for a Free Night of Music Industry Insight and Networking

Inside Hustle returns on Tuesday, May 13, at 5:30pm. Hosted in World Cafe Live, this two-and-a-half-hour event brings together emerging artists and aspiring industry professionals with the people driving Philadelphia’s music economy.

The evening begins with a networking session and happy hour from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m., giving attendees the opportunity to connect with peers and industry experts. At 7:00 p.m., Augusta Koch of the Philadelphia band Gladie leads a panel, “How to Self-Release a Record.” The discussion covers the practical steps of home-studio production, digital distribution channels, and strategies for promotion.

After the panel, the evening continues with Philly Rising Open Mic, presented by REC Philly, beginning at 8:30 p.m. Whether you’re performing or just listening, it’s a chance to hear some of the city’s most promising new artists.

Inside Hustle is free and open to all: musicians, managers, students, and fans alike, but RSVP is required. Join WXPN and Philly Music Fest for a practical, community-focused look at how to build a music career in Philadelphia.
