Governors Ball 2025 Brings the Energy Despite the Rain
Even a four-hour rain delay couldn’t stop Governors Ball, New York City’s largest music festival, from delivering a weekend packed with standout performances.
From Clairo and Wallows’ performances in the pouring rain to Orion Sun’s colorful haze-filled indie set, the festival brought out back-to-back legendary performers. We met up with The Japanese House before their set on the Kiehl’s stage to grab a portrait.
Other WXPN favorites including Hozier, Car Seat Headrest, and The Lemon Twigs performed throughout the weekend. An estimated 100,000 fans packed into Flushing Meadows Corona Park and pushed through the rainy weather to support the musicians and bands that they know and love.
