Wet Leg’s ‘Moisturizer’ tour packs Franklin Music Hall
The Isle of Wight indie rockers held court in Philly last night.
UK rockers Wet Leg exploded on the scene three years ago with their self-titled debut LP and its unstoppable single, “Chaise Longue.” This year, the duo of Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers returned with Moisturizer, a record born out of love and collaboration, as Teasdale told World Cafe‘s Raina Douris this summer.
The album is the product of a band that has honed its chops on the festival circuit, and Wet Leg brought that energy to their Philadelphia return last night when they held court at a packed Franklin Music Hall. The setlist was also packed, with the vast majority of Wet Leg’s songbook in the mix: 11 of Moisturizer‘s songs, and 9 of their debut’s songs.
