Pay your respects to Phife Dawg at a Johnny Brenda’s tribute

A group of local Phife Dawg fans have curated a tribute to the late rapper and A Tribe Called Quest co-founder at Johnny Brenda’s on March 18th. It’s the second installment of Philly Loves Phife & ATCQ following his death in March of 2016, and the organizers will donate a portion of the night’s proceeds to the American Diabetes Association.

Presented by Flygirrl, the evening will feature DJ sets from Mike Nyce, Aktive, and Cosmo Baker along with Phife-inspired artwork by Ameerah K Art and and tribute video screening.
