PHILADELPHIA (OCTOBER 8, 2013): WXPN will launch its much-anticipated annual "885 Greatest Songs" countdown special broadcast on Monday, October 14 at 6 a.m., which will run through Friday, October 18. This year's theme is the "885 Greatest Songs of the New Millennium," and all songs that will be heard from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. during the massive, five-day programming feature were submitted by WXPN listeners. To be eligible, all songs submitted must have been released after January 1, 2001.
