Brittany Davis will release their debut, Image Issues, on March 1st but already boasts a career – and a voice – to rival most musicians. Originating from Seattle, Davis was born blind and has endured various struggles throughout life. Their music channels tate pain but also brims with life-affirming joy with lyrics about self-love and some boisterously funky beats. Davis cannot be confined to a single genre, mixing R&B passion, rap flows, and rock n’ roll energy into a fresh sound that feels utterly contemporary yet steeped in the classics. Davis is a truly multifaceted talent: a pianist, producer, and engineer equally adept at belting melodies and spitting bars. They’re also part of the supergroup Painted Shield, founded by Pearl Jam guitarist Stone Gossard.
