With an extensive history with multiple fairly successful groups Nathaniel Rateliff built his career in the Denver folk music scene. After the success of Born in the Flood’s debut record If This Thing Should Spill the group received an offer from Roadrunner Records. Rateliff turned down the offer to focus on his stripped back solo music with Nathaniel Rateliff and the Wheel. In 2013 he started his biggest group Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats. Their self-titled debut record was certified gold by the RIAA. Nathaniel and the band performed on the Pavilion stage at the 2022 XPoNential Music Festival.
