Who They Are:

A singer-songwriter/indie-pop rocker from Dublin, Ireland, Orla Gartland is a compelling artist who writes stunning songs about self-discovery.

One example of such is “Little Chaos” from Gartland’s 2024 LP Everybody Needs A Hero; it’s her second full length album, but she’s been active releasing singles and EPs since 2009 when she began performing on YouTube as a teenager.

Gartland grew up on a steady diet of Avril Lavigne and Brandi Carlile; her own songwriting has a pop/rock edge to it, but definitely leans atmospheric folk and pop/rock in the spirit of Joni Mitchell, Fleetwood Mac, and Kate Bush. We can’t wait to see more from her in the coming years.
