Tank and the Bangas rose to prominence after winning NPR’s Tiny Desk Contest in 2017. The group’s soul and R&B stylings coupled with leader singer Tarriona ‘Tank’ Ball’s storytelling is powerfully engaging and particularly moving in a live setting.
