Who They Are:
The Lemon Twigs are Brian and Michael D’Addario, a sibling duo from Long Island who grew up listening to the Beatles and the Beach Boys. After being part of the cover band Members of the Press, they started The Lemon Twigs in high school and released their first album What We Know (2015) on a limited release of 100 cassette tapes. Their sophomore album Do Hollywood (2015) was released on streaming services as well as physically, and skyrocketed the Twigs to fame, earning them a set at Coachella and Lollapalooza in 2017. After releasing the concept album Go To School in 2018 and Songs for the General Public in 2020, they switched gears post-pandemic, digging into their unique, retro sound for 2023’s Everything Harmony. Most recently, they’ve incorporated Danny Ayala on and Reza Matin backing up the duo on everything from vocals to drums and keys.
