Who They Are:

Weyes Blood is the project of singer-songwriter Natalie Mering, who broke out playing in the underground scene in Portland, Oregon. Her first two albums on an independent label were distributed by Mexican Summer in 2014 and 2016, and she was picked up by Sub Pop for the haunting Titanic Rising in 2014. In 2022, she thematically followed up Titanic with And In the Darkness Hearts Aglow, a dazzling, expansive record written on both piano and guitar that showcases her choir-trained voice.
