We’re catching up with Courtney Barnett today on World Cafe.
The songwriter’s latest, ‘Creature of Habit,’ is out now–her first album (with lyrics) in five years. And we’re glad to see it.
As contributing host Kallao puts it, “Barnett is one of indie rock’s most distinctive songwriters, bringing stream-of-consciousness observations and incisive insights to her music.”
Even when, as referenced in this clip, she’s not sure herself of those insights.
