Friday — Jillith Fair – Loving Jill Sobule at The Fallser Club
Jim Boggia and Marykate O’Neil are hosting a night celebrating the late folk-pop singer songwriter Jill Sobule, who died in May 2025. The bill features Dave Derby, David Weisberg, Jacob Lawson, James Mastro, Jonathan Coulton, Tammy Faye Starlight, Tara Murtha, and Tracy Bonham.
Saturday — Island Jam at Veterans Island at Cooper River Park
Cooper River Park in South Jersey will host a bevy of artists for the Tonewood 10 Island Jam Saturday. Headlining are Baltimore funk-jam outfit Pigeons Playing Ping Pong. Also performing are Grace Bowers, LaMP, DJ Brownie, Deadtronica featuring Aron Magner of The Disco Biscuits, Winderman, Colman & Kimock, Crickets & Cicadas: Grateful Dead Tribute, and Sean Daniels and the Law Abiding Citizens.
Sunday — Sadie Gust at 118 North
Our 2025 24 Hour Song Challenge winner Sadie Gust is headlining 118 North in Wayne Sunday. She’s joined by Scarlet Fiorella and Kate Buck for the Main Line show. Learn more about this year’s 24 Hour Song Challenge here; the prompt announces at noon Saturday!
Monday — Amyl and the Sniffers at Skyline Stage at The Mann Center
Australia’s punk rock stars Amyl and the Sniffers are set to rock out the Skyline Stage at The Mann on a school night. But punk doesn’t stop for weekdays. Fellow Aussies Party Dozen are supporting them with their signature noise rock sound.
Tuesday — Kevin Morby at Union Transfer
The Texan indie rocker is bringing the Little Wide Open Tour to Philly. His connection to the city is quite strong: he and Katie Crutchfield of Waxahatchee, who got her start here in Philly, are expecting a child; his touring bassist Cole Berggren is a Philly resident and former bassist for The Vernes; and drummer Dom Billet is from the nearby Lehigh Valley and played with Toy Soldiers. Liam Kazar, who is also part of Morby’s band, is opening the show.
Wednesday — Deer Tick at Underground Arts
Deer Tick are coming to Underground Arts hot off the release of their ninth album, Coin-O-Matic, and will be supported by breakout modern Americana artist Jobi Riccio, who dropped Face the Feeling in May. Thursday — Alex Savoth at Johnny Brenda’s
Stereo League’s Alex Savoth just released his debut solo album, Midnight Sun, marking a bit of a departure from his work with Stereo League. Savoth in May spoke to WXPN about the new project being deeply personal. Hear him perform some new tracks from his March Free At Noon online here. Max Davey and James Clark are opening the show at JB’s.
