Geek alt rockers They Might Be Giants just released their 24th album, yes they’ve got two dozen records out, in April. They’re out on tour to support The World is to Dig now and are playing three consecutive nights at Union Transfer. Expect to hear songs from their 40-year career.

Saturday: Trainwreck Boyfriend at Arden Guild Hall
Philly indie pop rock outfit Trainwreck Boyfriend are heading down to Delaware for an album release gig after they dropped their self-titled debut record in January. Their music is perfect for fans of The Beths, Momma, Veruca Salt, The Smiths, The Cure, and The Pixies.

Sunday: August Burns Red at The Fillmore
One of central PA’s most beloved bands, metalcore act August Burns Red is getting ready to crush The Fillmore with their aggressive riffs, breakdowns, and brutal vocals. The Lancaster-based band will release their 11th album, Season of Surrender, on June 5.

Monday and Tuesday: Lucinda Williams at Union Transfer
Lucinda Williams has been using her music to speak truth to power for nearly 50 years and she hasn’t stopped. Hot off her latest album, World’s Gone Wrong, Williams is spending two nights in Philadelphia to continue spreading her message of resistance.

Tuesday: David Lee Roth at Keswick Theater
Diamond Dave may have some new fans coming to Keswick Theater Tuesday after he made a guest appearance during Teddy Swims’ set at Coachella last month, when the former Van Halen singer joined the Swims for a cover of the band’s iconic hit single “Jump.”

Wednesday: Samantha Fish at The State Theatre
Grammy-nominated Kansas City blues guitarist Samantha Fish will head to State College for a mid-week show, with Solomon Hicks supporting. You can watch her shred through her set at the 2022 XPoNential Music Festival here!

Thursday: Feaster at Johnny Brenda’s
Up-and-coming Philly area-based punk-psych-prog band Feaster just dropped their first album Big Super on May 8. They’re celebrating the release with a special gig at JB’s with fellow Philly rockers Humilitarian and Alright Junior.
