Singer-songwriter Suzie Brown is releasing her debut full-length album, Heartstrings, next Tuesday, May 24th. Brown, originally from Boston, graduated from Harvard with a medical degree and did her cardiology fellowship in Philadelphia. She’s always found a balance between her passion for music and her academic studies—even appearing in a production of the play Hair while studying at Harvard. WXPN and the Philadelphia Folksong Society Welcome Suzie to World Cafe Live on Friday, June 10th, for her record-release party. Ticket information is here.
