The War On Drugs’ new video for “Baby Missiles” (a single from upcoming full-length, Slave Ambient, due August 16) looks like a trippy, frenetic home movie. Whirling kaleidoscope images interspersed with shaky shots of streets and guys in gladiator costumes, all dripping in weird color. The video moves at a nice clip, lingering on each frame for only moments before ricocheting elsewhere. It doesn’t feel rushed though; it’s merely matching the song’s driving forward motion.
