Photo Recap: Dawes records a session for an upcoming World Cafe episode w/David Dye

Dawes was scheduled to play WXPN’s Free At Noon on June 10th, however the show wound up being a solo set by the band’s lead singer, Taylor Goldsmith. They were on their way from a show in Pittsburgh to perform at World Cafe Live when their van broke down; Taylor hopped an overnight flight to Philly to perform a solo set and promised to return with the full band to record a World Cafe session. Yesterday, Dawes stopped by WXPN to record a World Cafe session in front of a small audience of about 50 WXPN Special Producers. A broadcast date has not been set yet, however you can listen to Taylor’s solo set here. We’ll keep you posted on when their World Cafe performance and interview with David Dye will be scheduled.
