In celebration of his 25th year as a solo artist, Sting will be performing at the Tower Theatre on October 26th, reports The Swollen Fox. From Sting’s website:

“Live Nation is pleased to announce that this fall, Sting will embark on the Back to Bass Tour throughout North America as he celebrates the 25th anniversary of his solo career by taking it back to bass… all the hits, stripped down, as they haven’t been played in years. In support of his forthcoming box set collection Sting: 25 Years, slated for release on September 27, the tour features Sting backed by a 5-piece band in an intimate theatre setting.”

Sting will be accompanied by a five-piece rock band (Dominic Miller, Vinnie Colaiuta, Rufus Miller, Peter Tickell and Jo Lawry); there are no supporting acts. Tickets—which range from $48 to $148.50 (not included whatever fees you’re going to get stuck with)—go on sale Monday, September 19th, at 10 a.m. through livenation.com.

You can get full tour dates, complete ticket information, and more details on the box set collection, via Sting’s website.
