Daughter making their US debut at Union Transfer Tuesday, March 6th (opening for White Rabbits)

North London’s Daughter is composed of lead singer Elena Tonra, her partner/guitarist Igor Haefeli, and drummer Remi Aguilella. The band’s The Wild Youth EP is being released next Tuesday on Glassnote Records. The songs on the band’s EP recall the spacious feel of The XX but with more colorful sonic depth. The acoustics are warm and gentle, the lyrics melancholic, and Tonra’s vocals have a simple, beautiful hush to them.
