We kind of fell in love with this session before it even happened. The room we shot in was in the midst of the beautiful Hilton Garden Inn, about twenty something floors up, and was ‘grand’ in every sense of the word. I should add that neither us nor the band were staying at the hotel. So despite an initial hesitation of whether someone would interrupt the session due to a noise disturbance, or lack of a legitimate reason to be in the hotel, to our surprise a few people even gathered around the ascending open balconies to watch and listen along.
