Who is The Human Lard Dog and the Band Of Shy? For starters, the Lard Dog is Steven Erdman, a musician, multimedia artist and dad. The Lard Dog and his 10 piece Band of Shy is a family entertainment experience that’s equal parts Pee-Wee Herman, The B-52’s, The Preservation Hall Jazz Band and a silly circus sideshow.
