Warm up with “Aztec” from Flamingos

Fishtown’s tropical glo-fi project Flamingos is working on its first EP, Night Howl, and the one-man-band of Chris Coulton shared this eighties synth-pop influenced “Atzec” as a teaser.  The song is a trek into a sonic jungle, saturated with twists of synth riffs and subtle windpipe accents – a perfect match for fans of Sun Airway or Passion Pit.  With the full EP due out early next year, Coulton says he’s working on assembling a live band for a release party (and hopefully more shows thereafter).
