Philly rapper Mic Stewart has been rapping for about a decade and releases his new album, PEACEWORLD, on April 23rd. The record features guest appearances from Chill Moody, Selina Carrera, and DJ Damage. Last year he was named the Red Bull Emsee National Freestyle Champion in a competition judged by some heavy hitters including DJ Premier, David Banner and Big K.R.I.T. Known for his legendary Temple University Bell Tower freestyle performances like this, he recently released the first single and video for “I’m Not From Brooklyn,” from his forthcoming album. It’s got a non-stop funky old school vibe that’s fresh and deserving of repeated listenings.
