Shuggie Otis will release Inspiration Information/Wings Of Love on Tuesday, April 16th. Originally released in 1974, Inspiration Information, was reissued by David Byrne on his Luaka Bop label in 2001. Long a cult classic, the album is being reissued yet again, this time with four previously-unreleased bonus songs on the first disc, while the second CD, Wings Of Love, is an unreleased follow-up album which includes 14 unreleased live and studio tracks recorded by Shuggie between 1975 and 2000. Otis recently performed “Inspiration Information” on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon with the Roots. Watch the video below.
