Watch Kate Faust’s new video for “Heartbeat”
After a successful Kickstarter campaign, Kate Faust released a stunning debut EP Crucial Companion back in November. Recently, she released a video for one of the songs, “Heartbeat.” The video gives “home-made” a whole new meaning. Filmed in the house of Faust’s parents, the music video is a simple one, mostly showing Faust in different locations around the house, staring piercingly into the camera. In the dark light of the house, there’s little to focus on, other than the expressions on her face which go from calm to pained as the video progresses. It’s a soulful video that truly shows Faust’s powerful vocal range in the twilight of that house. Watch the video below.
