Philly friends Modern Baseball and The Hundred Acre Woods have announced plans for a 7″ split on Lame-O Records this summer set for release on July 15th (that’s the artwork up top).  The collaboration comes during an exciting year for the local indie folk-punk bands as both have experienced considerable success over the last twelve months, with Modern Baseball signing to Run for Cover Records and The Hundred Acre Woods performing at April’s PIFA showcase.

This run is limited to 500 pressings on colored vinyl and can be pre-ordered here.  Modern Baseball will play The Barbary on June 28th and Folkadelphia welcomes The Hundred Acre Woods at West Philly show space Moonbase Nix on June 20th; tickets and information for both shows can be found here.  Check out the track listing for the split below and watch Modern Baseball perform “Re-Do” for Maggot House‘s Piss Couch Sessions, followed by The Hundred Acre Woods’ “Base of My Heart.”
