World Boogie Is Coming: North Mississippi Allstars releasing a new album and playing at Union Transfer on September 14

North Mississippi Allstars have announced a tour and a new album. They play Union Transfer on Saturday, September 14. Their new album, World Boogie Is Coming, is coming out on September 3rd. The album is a return to the rootsy, raw, and rugged Delta, Hill country blues and rock and roll of their signature earlier sound. “World Boogie” is an expression that blues man Bukka White created and picked up by Luther and Cody Dickinson’s father Jim, as a way to talk about the music they grew up on, played on and informed their lives as musicians.
