Hometown favorite singer-songwriter Amos Lee appeared last night on Tonight Show with a wide assortment of hometown players, from Mutlu on backup vocals to Fred Berman on drums and Andrew Keenan on pedal steel. With slick back-up harmonies and his jazzy black glasses, the group performed “The Man Who Wants You” from Lee’s upcoming album Mountains of Sorrow, Rivers of Song, which will be released this October. Lee’s U.S. fall tour brings him to the Tower Theater on November 27th; tickets are on sale this Friday, with a bit of charity mixed in. $1 of every ticket sold will be donated to Musicians On Call, but you can make an extra donation for the non-profit organization for a chance to win an autographed Amos Lee guitar.
