Red Bull is hosting a show at the Blockley on August 16 as part of its Sound Select concert series, which aims to bring together and “break” new music. Headlining the show is experimental, alternative hip-hop driven artist Kilo Kish. She dropped her record, K+, earlier this year – you can stream it below through SoundCloud. Curated by Veteran Freshman, the show also include performances by local singer-songwriter/hip-hop artist Joie, and Philly quirky psych-rockers Nico’s Gun. Also on the bill is Mic Stewart, who just recently released the music video for “Let it Bump,” his track with Chill Moody and DJ Damage. Tickets for the show can be bought at the door – $3 before 10 p.m, and $10 after.
