Stream Nine Inch Nails’ new LP Hesitation Marks via iTunes (playing Made in America this weekend)
Nine Inch Nails is co-headlining this weekend’s Made in America festival, and today its new album Hesitation Marks is available for streaming via iTunes. The album becomes available to purchase on September 3rd, but this is an opportune time to get acquainted with the new material Trent Reznor and NIN will bring to Philly this weekend. We recommend you begin with “Came Back Haunted,” a densely-layerd, brutish rocker and probably the best song NIN has released since 2005’s With Teeth. Single “All Time Low” starts out kind of weak and a little too close to “Closer”, but if you skip to the three-minute mark, it’s got alluring tones and textures that carry you to the coda. A little deeper still into the album and you hit “Satellite,” a nervy number with a cool and skittish groove; I can’t wait to hear this one pumping out the speakers onto the Ben Franklin Parkway. Stream Hesitation Marks here; get information on the festival here; and below watch NIN’s Lollapalooza set from earlier this year.
