Philly rapper Meek Mill is teaming up with Cleveland Cavaliers NBA player (and Philly native) Dion Waiters to bring the Dream Chasers Sports & Entertainment Summit to Philadelphia on August 30. The day-long event, held at Temple’s Performing Arts Center, will feature panels with big names and leaders in both the entertainment and sports industry. The panels will focus on the theme of “chasing dreams” and what it takes to make them a reality. Mainly catered towards students and young Philadelphians, the summit aims to both inspire and provide personal accounts on how to really work towards success. On the entertainment end of the summit, panelists include Meek Mill, Rick Ross, regional Live Nation president Geoff Gordon, Master P, rapper Machine Gun Kelly, and more. The sports-focused panel will include NBA players like Waiters, Lou Williams, and Thaddeus Young.

Tickets for the summit are on sale now, and Temple can buy passes for a reduced price. Separate meet and greet tickets are also available – check out the summit website for more information. Meanwhile, check out Meek Mill’s new music video for his track “Levels” off of the upcoming record Self Made, out on September 17.
