Listen to “Bow Your Head,” the new single from Far-Out Fangtooth (playing Boot & Saddle on 11/2)

“Bow Your Head” comes off of Far-Out Fangtooth‘s new LP Borrowed Time, set for release on October 29th through Siltbreeze Records.  The Philly-based psych / fuzz rock outfit went darker, deeper and doomier on the follow-up single to last month’s“Mother Nature Fetish,” amping up the aggression and thrash levels while maintaining elements of warped melody and hypnotic swirls of noise.  Siltbreeze describes the new record as a bridge between “the fuzz / feedback pop of The Jesus & Mary Chain” and “the smoldering post-punk darkness of Sort Sol” mixed with “the crashing, echo-laden psychedelia of Five Day Week Straw People” – a heavy concoction to say the least.  Far-Out Fangtooth will celebrate the release of Borrowed Time at Boot & Saddle on November 2nd; tickets and information can be found here.  Listen to “Bow Your Head” below.
