Dipped in dreams with sprinkles of the atmosphere on top, The Pains of Being Pure at Heart are about as blissful as indie-pop gets and with their new album Days of Abandon on the way, they’re bound to get even better. The new 10-track LP is their first since 2011’s Belong and arrives on April 22nd with a concurrent tour beginning next month. Local fans can catch the band at Johnny Brenda’s on May 19th.
