Khari Mateen‘s recent show at Chris’ Jazz Cafe found him performing an extended version of his single “Full Moon” complete with the cello and hypnotic loop that graced the original. Having collaborated with other local acts like The Roots and Jill Scott, Mateen has mastered the Philly soul sound and put his own eclectic spin on it.
