Singer-songwriter David Gray releases his new album, Mutineers, his first new release in four years, on June 17th. It’s been 21 years since Gray released his debut album, A Century Ends, and his 1998 release White Ladder brought him wide acclaim for songs like “Please Forgive Me,” and “Babylon.” WXPN Welcomes Gray to the Temple Performing Arts Center on Friday, May 2nd. Below, listen to the first single, “Gulls.” It’s a contemplative, delicate piano based song that has a hymnal, ethereal quality to it.
