We find Philly pop hip-hip group Astronauts Really Fly in a dark, dance-party equipped basement in their new video “Growing Pains.” With vocals alternating between singer Andrew Meoray and rapper Mont Brown, the song gives an unique perspective on the conflicted emotions felt when growing up. The best part of the video comes when a saxophone interrupts an abrupt silence; in the midst of all the excitement, the wistful solo really captures the bittersweet emotion of growing up.

Of course, in the genre-blending world of ARF, a saxophone solo is not unexpected. Previously ARF had released videos for other singles, “Wrong” (featured on MTV 2) and “Soul”. The songs are off of their debut album F.L.I.G.H.T., due out July 11th. The band will be playing July 11th at The TLA as a part of the Kickback Live Concert. Get more information on the show here.
