Fresh from playing this year’s OK Fest, Philly power punk trio Cayetana just released another spectacular song “Scott Get the Van, I’m Moving” via, The A.V. Club. The track is off their upcoming new album Nervous Like Me, which is out September 9th via Tiny Engines Records. Earlier this year, the band released “Serious Things are Stupid”, “Dirty Laundry” and “Hot Dad Calendar”. The band also recently did a Space Jam Session where singer Augusta Koch and bassist Allegra Anka played a stripped down, emotional version of “Dirty Laundry”. They also did a Shaking Through Session, where they played “Miss Thing”.

“Scott, Get The Van, I’m Moving” continues along the same emotional spectrum in “Dirty Laundry” and “Miss Thing.”  Koch’s raw vocals perfectly catch the feeling of disappointment and ache of missing someone. However, the song is more energetic than the previous releases, meant to be played at anthemic volumes. The instrumentals add a fuzzy rock element to the song. Check out “Scott Get the Van, I’m Moving” here, via The A.V. Club. and listen back to a track from Cayetana’s fantastic Key Studio Session below.
